1. The procedure:
I will compare the book in the original language with the German and English translations. Correct the grammatical errors and typos.
2. Technical side of the process:
I will download the German translation from Google Docs to my PC. Then I will edit this in a new Word document. That means: the correction mode is activated in Word and you can then track the changes in the text. The changes are highlighted in color. You can either accept or reject it in the end. The comments can then also be accepted manually or not.
3. Following my work, I could give the following feedback/review:
A general assessment of the German translation: to what extent does the German translation from English corresponds to the Russian original text.
how great was the effort of the technical editing: how many text passages had to be changed, i.e. gross translation errors.
