Project details
Are you wondering if your children’s story will truly connect with young readers? As a children’s book editor and beta reader, I provide insightful, age-appropriate feedback to help you strengthen your manuscript before editing or publishing.
I’ll read your story as a child’s first audience and as a professional who understands the structure, voice, and engagement of children's books. You’ll receive detailed, constructive feedback highlighting what works well, what may confuse or lose attention, and practical suggestions for improvement.
Whether you’ve written a picture book, early reader, chapter book, or middle grade manuscript, I’ll guide you on:
• Engagement level – does the story hold attention?
• Age-appropriateness – Is the language and theme suitable?
• Character & plot flow – do young readers connect and follow along?
• Read-aloud appeal – will it delight caregivers and children alike?
This service is perfect if you’d like a “test reader” perspective before investing in full editing.
