I started freelancing in 2018, went full time in 2020, and since we've grown into a small team (only proper employees, no sub-freelancing). We're based in Austria. Currently the team consists of three people. Me, being a backend Python dev (mainly Django and Flask), another full stack developer (mainly modern JS frameworks like React and NodeJS), and our third person is a recruiter (who does both internal and external recruiting for IT positions). I'd say our main focus has been in the "help businesses automate their workflows" area. Meaning we're not that much in the "flashing landing page" business, and more in the "building proper systems" business. Here's a list of some of the project we've been working on, or are still working on currently (a more up to date list can be found on our webpage): * Helping the world leader in beer analytics data. This is a long term partnership, and we're handling some of the backend aspects. We're processing millions of liters worth of beer, which leads to all kinds of interesting charts. Everybody likes fancy charts. * A blockchain pilot project for one of the biggest plastics bottle manufacturers. Can't say too much about it without breaking NDAs, but the purpose of it is to guarantee their customers that they actually use however much recycled plastics the customer pays for. * We developed a new product with a leading German software provider in the car dealership area which makes everyday tasks easier for dealerships. Everything from easy tasks to complex processes can be supported in order for dealerships to focus on the main aspects of their work, and not waste time on fighting with their tech instead. * We took over an existing project in the grade management sector and brought it up to date and made it future proof. While doing that we reworked the data structure and made it more dynamic. * Another project we reimplemented was a subsystem of a Silicon Valley company. The old code wasn't maintainable anymore, so we rewrote it in modern Python instead. I think that gives you a pretty good idea of the kind of projects we usually take on.
