About the Project We are bidding on a one-time data analysis project for the **Federal Bureau of Prisons (RFQ 15BCMS26Q70000005)**. The project involves analyzing approximately 666,000 rows of historical medical claims data to identify potential fraud, waste, abuse, duplicate billing, and other payment integrity issues. The engagement is **100% remote**, and the work must be completed within **60 days** of receiving the government's dataset. Role: Healthcare Data Analytics Engineer We are seeking someone with strong technical experience working with large healthcare datasets, particularly professionals with expertise in: * Python programming * SQL * Healthcare claims or payment data analysis * Data engineering and ETL workflows * Statistical analysis and anomaly detection Professionals with backgrounds such as **Healthcare Data Analyst, Healthcare Data Scientist, Python/SQL Data Engineer, Healthcare Analytics Engineer,** or similar are especially encouraged to apply. Primary responsibilities will include: * Building Python and SQL scripts to process large healthcare claims datasets. * Performing data validation, cleansing, and transformation. * Running anomaly detection and payment integrity analyses. * Producing Excel-based reports and supporting project deliverables. * Collaborating with the Clinical Coding Analyst to validate findings. DOJ Eligibility Requirements Because this is a Department of Justice contract, all team members **must** meet the following requirements: * Be a **U.S. citizen** (required with no exceptions). * Have legally resided in the **United States for at least 3 of the past 5 years**. * Be willing to complete a DOJ background investigation after contract award, which may include fingerprinting, employment verification, law enforcement checks, and a required drug screening. * Be able to certify that the laptop used for this project utilizes **FIPS 140-2 compliant encryption** before accessing government data. * Agree to use only locally hosted analytical tools and **not upload any project data to ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, or any other cloud-based AI platform**.
