I am Italian but I often find myself traveling around the world to live my greatest passion for travelling, which also led me to start doing my job remotely. My experience in translation started very early. I went to grammar school, where I translated latin and greek. I have a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures (English and German). During my university years, I worked for third parties, translating different kind of documents, from legal, to scientific, to medical, to fiction, poetry and history. For example: agreements, bylaws, both from Italian to English and from English to German; biology book for high school from English to Italian; a particular translation of a book of recipes from my local dialect (Abruzzo) to German for tourists; medical and pharmaceutical charts from German to Italian; reviews and magazine articles from German and from English to Italian. I've great experience with both spoken and written English, also thanks to a 3-weeks stay by a local english family in Canterbury where I did a crash course in English obtaining a Certificate of English. From 1998 to 2006 I worked for a building company, where I had the opportunity to make several translations from English to Italian of legal and commercial documents, such as laws and marketing books. I've a very good experience in translation from English and from German to Italian, and a good experience from Italian to English and German. My reading comprehension and translation skills are excellent both in English and in German. German - Ich habe Deutsch - Grammatik und Verständnis - an der Universität gelernt. Nach meinem Studium habe ich weiter übersetzt und die Themen erweitert, von Medizin über Technologie und Recht bis hin zu Literatur. My experience as a translator includes proofreading and editing of translated documents, as well. In all my long work experience, I've often had the opportunity to make transcriptions, from Italian-Italian and Italian-English audio and video recordings. Furthermore, working online for years, I gained perfect skills in websurfing and websearching, in the use of Microsoft Office and computer utilities in general, as well as excellent typing speed. I've also an excellent experience with SEO language, working directly on platforms like Wordpress. My main purpose is to work for publishing, translating every kind of texts. I particularly love poetry and literature, but I'm interested in every kind of topics, from technical documents to fiction.
