Sure, I may ask about and press on certain things a little to keep things moving, but only when it doesn’t happen organically. I believe there is a severe lack of awareness and emphasis on these things in the Western world and I have done an immeasurable amount of research and exploration into learning how to help others (and myself) in having a healthier mind, body and soul. I have travelled all over the world, met all kinds of fascinating people, and witnessed many different ways of life. What I have found and learned has been staggering, and nothing like what I thought of the world when I was growing up. My dream is to share some of that with others in the hope that it helps them in the same way it has helped me. From the way we think to the way we eat, we as a society are losing touch with what it means to be human, which has been driven by the Industrial Revolution, Capitalism and Consumerism. We all know to some extent that Social Media (and Media as a whole) have been slowly manipulating us by the masses and on an individual level, but how do we start taking steps to unlearn what has been instilled into us for years and let go of what is hurting us deep down? I truly believe it can start with a conversation and sharing new ideas so that our perspectives may change ever so slightly. Even in the hustle-and-bustle of today’s numbers-based world, I believe there is a place for reconnecting with what has been lost - maybe now more so than ever. What we put into our bodies affects us so much more than most of us are aware of, be that on a literal, physical level, or subconsciously by the things we ‘consume’ and find ourselves surrounded by. Finding a more mindful approach to life, ourselves and our relationships with the outside world can change things in a way the you may not even think is possible. The power of will is a lot stronger than it may seem. It may come as no surprise that I have a particular passion for the teachings of Eastern Religions and philosophies like Buddhism, Taoism and Hinduism, which all hold Meditation at their core. Whether you have any interest in that area or not, I believe that their teachings are Universal and anybody could take something away from what they have to share. I want to be clear that what I am providing is by no means Religious advice or guidance - I just think it’s helpful for potential clients to know this about me. My aim is to create a space for people to feel comfortable enough to open up about whatever they might be struggling with and what they truly want in life, and to help them start taking steps to feeling healthier and more fulfilled. Maybe there are things that you want to talk about but aren’t sure how to even begin. I am more than happy to start that conversation and to listen to what you have to share with me too. Whether you wish to talk or explore anything 1-on-1, as a couple, or even a small group, I would love to hear about what you want to get from our sessions together. Even if you’d just like to think of it as talking to a friend, I can assure you that I will treat you with the same care that I would with my other friends.
