The first thing I always ask a founder: What does your data look like? Not what tool they're using. Is everything actually connected? And do you trust the numbers you're working from? That answer tells me everything. I've spent over 15 years building demand forecasts and purchase plans for over 30 companies. I know what good forecasting actually looks like, and I know how rarely brands have it in their first 5 years. The tool is almost never the real problem. It's that nobody on the team has ever been taught how to forecast properly, so they're automating a process that was broken to begin with. What I do is take that 15 years of experience and build it directly into a software. So instead of hiring a planner or figuring it out yourself, you get a system that already thinks the way an experienced operator thinks: your lead times, your MOQs, your seasonal patterns, your supplier relationships, all of it baked in from day one. The system won't just tell you what to order, it writes the purchase orders for you too; how much and when, down to the product/warehouse/marketplace. And if you're managing raw materials or running any kind of production planning, I can build that layer in as well so everything from raw inputs to finished goods is running through one connected system. What's your budget range and how big is your catalog? Those are usually the two things that tell me pretty quickly what kind of build makes sense. Projects typically take 4 to 6 weeks. Most brands I work with make the investment back in one good Black Friday sale and more.
