I recently hired a freelancer to develop a website for my brand, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Here's a breakdown of the issues I encountered:

Excessive Time Taken: The project timeline was grossly underestimated. What was initially promised to be a few weeks of work extended into several months. This delay significantly disrupted my business plans and marketing strategies.
High Cost Not Justified: Considering the quality of work delivered, the cost was exorbitant. The rate charged by the freelancer was not reflective of the work quality or the industry standards. This made the whole investment feel like a poor value for money.
Lack of Communication: Throughout the project, the freelancer was difficult to reach and did not provide regular updates. This lack of communication added to the frustration, as I was often left in the dark about the progress of the project.
In conclusion, this experience was a lesson in the importance of thoroughly vetting a freelancer's portfolio and reviews before hiring. The substandard quality of work, coupled with high costs and poor communication, made this an unsatisfactory engagement. I cannot recommend this freelancer to others seeking professional web design services.
