Project details

There is a difference between a developer who has read the Next.js docs and one who has shipped Next.js apps to real users and kept them running. I am the second kind. I have built and currently operate multiple Next.js applications on the App Router with real paying users, real uptime requirements, and real consequences when something breaks. That means I make architecture decisions with production in mind from day one -- not afterthoughts bolted on before launch. Server components versus client components, caching strategy, middleware, auth flow, API design, Vercel configuration -- these are decisions I have made on live products, not in tutorials. What you get is a working application built the right way, deployed and ready for real users, with code you can maintain and build on after I hand it off.

Python Script Development for Data Migration to Excel We hired Dusty to develop and execute a Python script to coalesce large data sets from multiple sources into a user-friendly Excel file. Working with Dusty was a pleasure. He was responsive, proactive in bringing new ideas and solutions forward, and timely in his deliverables. I highly recommend Dusty, and we will likely use him in the future for other projects.

Full-Stack + AI Engineer | Supabase, Next.js, SageMaker | SaaS

Most developers will tell you they have worked with AI APIs. I built a computer vision model, deployed it to SageMaker, and wired a continuous retraining loop so it gets smarter from every user interaction. That same production discipline runs across all my work: three live Supabase and Next.js apps, federal data pipelines for CBP and FEMA, and a personalization engine that hit 87% adoption in three months at a company with millions in revenue at stake.
I have been shipping production software for 9 years. Not prototypes. Not client demos that get handed off and forgotten. Systems with real users, real uptime requirements, and real consequences when something breaks. These are systems I architect, build, deploy, and maintain myself.
What that means for you: I make decisions with production in mind from day one. Schema design that holds up at scale. RLS policies that actually protect your data. CI/CD configured before the first feature ships. Architecture you can build on after I hand it off.
My current stack centers on Supabase, Next.js, TypeScript, and Python/FastAPI, the same tools I use in my own products every day. I also work extensively with React Native for cross-platform mobile, AWS for infrastructure and ML workloads, PostgreSQL for complex data models, and Redis for caching and real-time systems.
Recent work includes:
Building and operating three live SaaS products on Supabase and Next.js generating $4k+ per month in real revenue. Designing and deploying a PyTorch image classification model on AWS SageMaker with an automated weekly retraining pipeline driven by live user feedback, achieving 88% accuracy. Building automated federal data pipelines for CBP, ICE, and FEMA that reduced manual processing from two days to 15 minutes. Leading a personalization engine at DealerOn that went from 0% to 87% dealer adoption in three months and became a new paid revenue stream. Supporting HIPAA and SOC2 compliant systems at Vault Health processing millions of clinical tests weekly.
I work best on projects where the technical decisions actually matter -- where a naive implementation will cost you later and you want someone who has already made the mistakes and learned from them on their own products rather than yours.
I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from UT Austin and am AWS Solutions Architect and Azure Developer certified.
If you are building something real, let's talk about it.

Steps for completing your project

After purchasing the project, send requirements so Dusty can start the project.

Delivery time starts when Dusty receives requirements from you.

Dusty works on your project following the steps below.

Revisions may occur after the delivery date.

Scope and Architecture Review

I review your requirements, confirm scope for your tier, and outline the component and routing architecture before writing any code.

Design and Component Build

I build your pages and components with TypeScript, Tailwind, and responsive design, sharing progress as sections are completed.

Review the work, release payment, and leave feedback to Dusty.
