### Who Am I:
I'm Shoaib Hossain, also known as SIHAB. Iāve had a strong interest in technology since childhood. I excelled in mathematics, which is one reason I enjoy programming so much; it just makes sense to me.
### What Do I Do:
As a developer, I primarily write code and create programs. This includes web development, Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux apps or software. I utilize the fastest and most flexible frameworks and technologies for these projects.
### Languages and Frameworks:
I'd like to share some of the technologies I prefer to use. For small, simple, and minimal websites, I generally opt for HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. These core/native utilities are faster, more optimized, and storage-friendly compared to others. For more complex or larger websites, I typically use ReactJS, which saves some static functions on the clientās computer, enhancing speed. However, minimal website performance cannot be significantly improved by any framework.
### Backend Development:
As a JavaScript developer, I use Node and Deno to create backend servers and RESTful APIs. With the help of the Express and Hono frameworks, my productivity increases. I also know PHP, but I donāt recommend using it unless necessary. With my expertise in BSON-based databases like MongoDB, I consider myself a MERN stack developer.
### Mobile Development:
For mobile app development, I prefer Flutter and React, as they allow for the quick creation of visually appealing apps with built-in Material Design components. Although Flutter apps might be slightly larger, they are well-optimized for older OS versions. For unique designs that donāt align with Material Design, I use React Native, which provides the flexibility to build custom UI components using CSS.
### Desktop App Development:
With my expertise in JavaScript, React, and React Native, I've also ventured into Electron to develop cross-platform desktop apps. Electron combines the power of Node.js and Chromium, making it easier to create desktop applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
Did you know that Flutter can also create fast and beautiful desktop apps? Powered by the Dart language, Flutter uses its own rendering engine instead of Chromium, resulting in better performance with lower RAM and CPU usage.
You might wonder, āIf Flutter supports web, mobile, and desktop development, why learn other frameworks?ā I started with web development, so I learned tools like Electron first. While Flutter offers a unified codebase for cross-platform apps, it has some limitations; certain plugins are platform-specific, and some features may not work across all devices. For simple apps that donāt require deep OS integration, Flutter is an excellent choice for seamless cross-platform solutions. However, when targeting specific platforms or requiring advanced features, I turn to native frameworks for optimal results.
### Linux:
I have been using Linux (specifically Ubuntu) as my primary operating system for the past 10 months. This experience has greatly enhanced my understanding of Linux and its commands. Linux, especially the Ubuntu flavor, is unparalleled when it comes to deploying websites and servers; no other OS compares for deployment tasks.
### Performance:
As I mentioned earlier, I always strive to optimize applications based on the clientās requirements and the specific platform. Most of the time, the Flutter framework handles this well. However, for other languages and platforms, it becomes my responsibility, and I always do my best, drawing from the experience Iāve gained over time.
