I help teams migrate databases, improve read performance using caching, reduce cloud costs while maintaining availability, and ship practical AI search/chat systems that integrate embeddings, vector stores, and lightweight admin tooling.

Recent achievements:

Built and deployed RAG Starter Kit (CSV ingest → embeddings → Pinecone, React chat widget, /query API and admin UI).

Implemented serverless backend & IaC with AWS SAM, including CI/CD via GitHub Actions and least-privilege secrets access for deployments.

Delivered a production-ready serverless blog (RDS/Postgres backend, presigned S3 uploads + CloudFront, ElastiCache caching, Cognito auth) and documented before/after cost and performance improvements.

Designed the PDF → OCR → chunking ingestion flow (text-first extraction, Tesseract fallback, cleaning + overlap chunking) and a small PoC crawler/worker to feed the existing embed pipeline.

Tuned embedding & retrieval logic (chunk sizes, overlap, prompt scaffolding) and added fallback search strategies to reduce hallucinations and improve answer relevance.

Implemented cache-fallback and snapshot-based cost controls for ElastiCache; created runbooks for debugging common production issues (CORS, VPC endpoints, CloudFront).
