I am a Portuguese self-published author and traveler. My writing journey started when I took part in a volunteering project at nineteen years old. In Georgia, the pen became an extension of my body and the ideas which poured out of me at the time grew into a book. Writing has become a way of being and expression ever since, as well as a craft. My work explores a multitude of themes such as philosophy, spirituality, religion, ecology, anthropology and forms of literature ranging from reports to poetry, written both in my native Portuguese and English languages. With that being said, I have been educating myself and mastering the art of writing for the past eight years. Literature has been present in my life ever since my mother passed on her passion for books and reading when I was very young. My university course major was specifically about Portuguese so I had a lot of linguistics subjects such as Lexis, Syntax or Semantics which gave me a greater understanding of the language. As for today, I spend most of my time reading as much as I can and writing just about anything. Politics, geopolitics, sports, and traveling are among my favorite topics and I do frequently write about them. English is, nonetheless, my second language. I started to have English classes at the early age of 5 and I had several subjects of my course ministered in English, making 15 years of taught English. Nowadays, I read a lot of literature and articles and correspond with a lot of friends and clients in English, let alone the thousands of hours of documentaries and films I watch. I am completely fluent. As to Spanish, besides having a B2.2 level certified by the University of Lisbon and dominating the grammar and vocabulary perfectly, I read a lot of Spanish books and press and I have been in Spain dozens of times speaking it with locals. Besides my working side and regarding the human one, you can count on a calm, reasonable, and pleasant person to work with.
