AI Workflow / Automation Engineer – Cin7 Quoting & Product Automation System

We are looking for an experienced AI Automation Engineer to design and build an AI-assisted quoting workflow for our industrial supply business. The primary objective is to automate the process of converting customer RFQs into draft quotes within Cin7 Core while maintaining human approval before submission. The workflow should: * Read RFQs from PDFs, spreadsheets, emails, and other common formats. * Extract and interpret line items using AI. * Search existing products in Cin7 Core and match items where possible. * Search our master product database when products are not found in Cin7. * Use AI-assisted matching to identify equivalent products, supplier part numbers, and descriptions. * Create draft product records for approval when new items need to be added. * Upload approved products into Cin7 via API. * Generate a complete draft quote in Cin7 once all items have been resolved. * Flag uncertain matches or missing information for human review. * Maintain a clear approval process before quotes are sent to customers. Preferred experience includes: * AI agents and workflow automation * n8n or similar orchestration platforms * OpenAI and/or Claude APIs * Python development * ERP and inventory system integrations * Vector databases and semantic search * OCR and document processing * Procurement, inventory, or industrial supply workflows Please provide examples of similar projects, your recommended architecture, estimated timeline for an MVP, and how you would approach product matching, product creation, and quote generation within an ERP environment. This is intended to become a core business system, so we are looking for a scalable, production-ready solution rather than a simple chatbot or proof of concept.
