Business Operations Manager

Position Overview The Business Operations Manager serves as a cross-functional operational leader supporting executive management across Operations, Customer Support, Marketing, Technology, Finance, Fulfillment, and Strategic Initiatives. This individual will function as an extension of executive leadership by coordinating projects, analyzing business performance, driving accountability, preparing executive reporting, managing follow-up activities, conducting operational analysis, and supporting organizational decision-making. The goal of this position is to increase organizational efficiency, improve execution across departments, and reduce executive administrative workload while enhancing accountability and visibility throughout the organization. Primary Responsibilities Operations Monitor operational performance metrics and KPIs Support process improvement initiatives Assist with SOP development and maintenance Conduct operational audits and process reviews Customer Support Review support performance metrics and trends Analyze quality assurance findings Support customer experience improvement initiatives Assist leadership with operational reporting Technology Coordinate project follow-up and business requirements Assist with project prioritization and implementation tracking Participate in operational testing and deployment reviews Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams Marketing Compile performance reporting and KPI dashboards Monitor campaign performance trends Assist with budget and performance tracking Support growth and customer acquisition initiatives Finance Prepare financial reporting packages Assist with forecasting and budgeting exercises Monitor departmental financial performance Analyze profitability and operational efficiency metrics Executive Support Prepare executive dashboards and reporting Conduct business research and analysis Manage strategic initiative tracking Coordinate cross-departmental projects Document meetings and monitor action item completion Drive accountability across departments Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Operations Management, Marketing, or related field required Master’s Degree preferred Minimum 7 years of experience in business operations, management consulting, operations leadership, project management, executive support, or multi-department business management Strong understanding of operational management principles Strong understanding of customer service operations Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Advanced Excel, reporting, and data analysis skills Experience supporting multiple business functions simultaneously Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting executive leadership teams Experience working within eCommerce, retail, customer service, technology, or marketing-driven organizations Experience with KPI management and executive reporting Familiarity with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning Experience with project management platforms and business intelligence tools Success Metrics Executive time savings Project completion rates KPI reporting accuracy Cross-functional initiative completion Organizational accountability improvements Process improvement implementation Quality and timeliness of executive reporting Reduction in executive involvement in day-to-day operational coordination
