Hi
I am Young Woo, a Korean living in Phuket, Thailand and capable of:
1) Supporting to complete a Tender (a final proposal, written in Korean or English) in terms of any Engineering, Technical affair (except for IT Programming) to add Legal viewpoint.
2) Supporting for a technical manual and document.
3) Learning quickly about unfamiliar engineering area with referencing Technical English books.
4) Communicating with any type of engineer in any area (except for IT, computer).
My PDF resume which I made with Adobe Illustrator is attached in this profile.
In 2004 I graduated SungKyunKwan University (SKKU, supposedly in Top 5 in Korea currently) with Metallic Engineering B.A.
1. 1st Job: Chevrolets Korea:
When I worked in Chevrolets Korea (the previous name was General Motors Daewoo and the first company I joined after University), my job was a Quality Manager in Aftersales function for exported vehicles.
My experience covers a symptom analysis, trouble shooting, a communication with all relevant engineering teams (the entire system, such as Electric, Engine, Transmission, Software, mechanical and even painting).
In the mean time I had to prevent 2nd PL issue which means:
"a temporary action was inevitably decided, and then this went failed, and then the problem got much worse, and then the engineering team gets much more restrained with blaming other internal teams). Finally we don't know what to do."
I managed to close many issues Happily-Ever-After as long as being employed.
2. 2nd Job: Sales Rep.
I joined in a Top class Sales Rep. in Defense & Aerospace industry in Korea.
At this time I represented many companies, such as Biggest Europe Engine companies of fixed and rotary wings, Electric War-fare system companies, and various products from USA, Europe and Israel.
Due to my role here, I got many experiences to submit a tender to Korean Authorities and many Korean companies in Defense/Aerospace industry.
Many times I thought if I put hypothetically together all products I handle, I could make a Jet and Helicopter.
My items were from Cutting-Edge to a bolt technology as much as I could imagine like that
Also I was following up a production, delivery, quality issue, procurement and A conflict.
Promoting and introducing a new system were one of my job.
3. My own company from 2013:
I left the Rep. and established my own company for a repair project of F-16 Advanced Identification Friend & Foe (independent Radar System supporting a main radar)
I managed to own a repair system (all equipment/Software) which had been developed for this system in Korea and I upgraded that.
So my knowledge covers a general RF, Electric, Mechanical theory which is enough to develop a repair system and support a repair engineer.
My role was also Part Sourcing which are no longer in production (a part number is hidden or classified in most cases).
Recently the project itself was gone due to Upgrade Program (so-called F-16 CCIP), therefore the AIFF system will be replaced with a better one.
Anyway my personality doesn't suit for Defense/Aerospace which goes extremely slowly and I was trying to escape from that.
So I left my company as a vegetative state in Korea and then moved Thailand with my wife.
4. Move to Phuket, Thailand in May, 2019
Since my wife runs a Nail Art Shop, brand name as "Keauty" in Patong (Hottest Place here), I translate for her Instagram and Facebook Posts from Korean to English an the Instagram, therefore you can check out my humble English sentences here.
Her Instagram ID is "keauty_nails", please check that out.
********** Conclusion**********
I am happy to do any translation (EN to KOR, KOR to EN)
Before I left Korea, I filed inevitably a civil suit which is, of course, related to the Military business against a huge company.
Although I have got huge evidences or proofs, my lawyer didn't (and still doesn't) understand my intention and what the accused did wrong to me.
Finally I made most of documents to the court and many certification of contents to the accused without the lawyer's help at all.
If you have any headache requiring tactical strategies and Dog-fighting skill, you are free to contact me.
Of course I am happy to do a general translation as well.
Thanks
Young Woo
