Since I enjoy grammar and history, I invested three years into ancient Greek, which profoundly deepened my understanding of English grammar. I hold a Bachelors of Science in Sociology from Penn State and I have experience tutoring both in-person and fully remote. I've had the privilege of working with students of many diverse backgrounds; from elementary to young adults in the US and internationally, ESL students and with Penn State's Career Studies program whose focus is on guiding students with disabilities. I also enjoy working with students who do not fit well into the molds of "traditional" learning and helping them to succeed. I also have nearly two decades of professional writing experience.
