Hello! I am a Polish-English and English-Polish certified translator with a legal background. I also teach courses in English for Specific Purposes. I am an officially certified (sworn) translator entered into the register kept by the Polish Minister of Justice. My qualifications include a PhD in Linguistics, a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in English (teaching and business specializations), a Master's Degree in law (a five-year program), Postgraduate Translation Studies, the Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE), the Test of Legal English Skills (TOLES) Advanced, and a Diploma in English Law and Legal Skills. I have defended a master's thesis on Polish-English legal translation and published several papers on legal issues. As a translator, I have worked on a variety of content (documents, websites, applications, articles, etc.), including general and specialized language. I am especially interested and experienced in the areas of law (e.g., contracts, judgments, wills), business, finance, tourism, IT, and academic texts.
