Hi, I'm Eric N. MY BACKGROUND I specialize in providing audio/video solutions, leveraging over 30 years of experience in information technology, including many software/educational presentations, and many years in audio/video editing before joining Upwork. VOICE-OVER, VOICE ARTIST, NARRATION As a male, fluent English Canadian speaker, I ensure clear and professional delivery. I have created audio files from supplied scripts to be used as voice-overs for narration, education, meditation, drama, and story-telling. AUDIO FILE CUT AND SPLICE - using your files or searched and sourced for you Seamless transitions or looping, from your timestamps, your required lengths, and consistent volume levels. CREATING AUDIO FILE - from multiple songs and sources For example, as a competitive ballroom dancer and DJ, I've created over 25 MP3 files of ballroom dance music. Each 30-minute compilation includes 15 songs (3 each of slow waltz, tango, Viennese waltz, slow foxtrot, and quickstep). Each song is edited to 2 minutes long, including a 5-second fade ending. Some songs are trimmed to remove extra verses while maintaining rhythmic consistency. All tracks are adjusted for consistent volume levels. For ballroom dancing, I modify songs to match specific BPM ranges by slightly speeding up or slowing them. The final product is a single merged file combining all 15 edited tracks. Ballroom studios use 2–4 of these files for practice sessions, replacing their own 30–60 song playlists. MULTI-TRACK AUDIO FILES I create ballroom competition simulation files with layered tracks (e.g., announcements by the Master of Ceremonies (me), dance songs, background music, and applause). These files are used at ballroom dance studios on their practice nights to help 15–20 couples train for their upcoming competitions. Also, I have created audio files with scripted meditation voice-over and background music. CREATE MASH-UP SONGS For example, I mashed up a 20 second motivational 'song' for a young baseball pitcher that he plays before a practice or game. It includes 20 seconds of a main song with parts of 3 other songs and sound effects as well. VIDEO EDITING TO INCLUDE TITLE PAGES AND TEXT I add titles/text to videos to enhance storytelling. Examples include ballroom dance videos on my YouTube channel and baseball videos with volume adjustments and unwanted segments removed. I am here to help.
