So if you want me to use them let me know, if not, that’s okay, your book is gonna be great anyway. 👨🏽‍🎓 Academy Experience: I passed on the selection process of “The House of Roses” the most disputed Creative Writing Public Schools in Brazil, i don’t like to brag about stuff like this, but I need to convince you that I’m good, so that’s another argument. 🗺️ WHY SHOULD YOU HIRE A BILINGUAL GHOSTWRITER 🗺️ Because we think in two languages at a time and as a consequence have a more diverse tone to compel the readers. I believe that writing while knowing many languages is like creating with two separate brains, let me show you what I mean by that. In Brazil, we have a beautiful word, “Saudade”. it’s the feeling of when you are missing someone, and we don’t have an equivalent word for that in English, we usually say: “I miss you”, which is not a “feeling” per se, but a consequence of a feeling. Also, in Brazil, we have a different way of saying “I miss you”, we say “I feel the lack of you”, which is powerful in different ways, those cultural differences in languages are a writer’s tool kit dream, we can think in a language and try and translate that feeling into words to another. A word in English that hurts me deeply not to have an equivalent in Brazil: is “Grasp”, we have some of the common English synonyms, grip, grab, hold, etc. But no Brazilian word has the power of “Grasp”, “Seize” is another perfect example, “Seize this moment” doesn’t have the compelling voice of “Enjoy this moment”, which is usually how we say it in Brazil. These are some of the so-called “untranslatable words”. The more languages we understand, the more repertoire we have to make poetry. That’s why I believe you should choose me, if you didn’t it would be a shame for the two of us, because I’m a pretty freaking good writer, and your story is probably pretty freaking interesting.
