I am a native British English speaker, bilingual in French, with 15+ years of international professional experience spanning financial services regulation, payments compliance, and English language education across the US, UK, EU, Gibraltar, Malta, and Hong Kong. I offer a rare combination of linguistic precision and deep domain expertise across four service areas: TRANSLATION REVIEW, LOCALISATION & HUMAN TOUCH EDITING — Native English/French bilingual offering review, post-editing, and naturalisation of English↔French translated content. I ensure translated content reads as though written by a native speaker — preserving tone, register, and cultural nuance. Specialisms include financial, regulatory, legal, and corporate communications. I also offer US-to-UK English conversion — transforming American-generated documents and websites into natural, idiomatic British English. This goes beyond spelling to cover punctuation conventions, date and number formats, legal and regulatory terminology, tone, and register. Particularly valuable for US companies entering UK and EU markets, or for compliance and corporate documents requiring British English as standard. Full website copy review and proofreading is also offered, including end-to-end US-to-UK localisation for companies launching in British and European markets. COMPLIANCE & REGULATORY DOCUMENT REVIEW — Former President & CEO of a regulated financial institution with hands-on experience producing KPMG-standard compliance frameworks, AML/KYC policy documentation, fund flow narratives, regulatory licence applications, and cross-border payments regulatory filings. I review, edit, and write compliance documentation for fintech startups, regulated financial institutions, payment institutions, and iGaming operators across UK, EU, Gibraltar, and Malta jurisdictions. TECHNICAL PAYMENTS & INFRASTRUCTURE DOCUMENTATION — Experienced reviewing and editing payment systems technical documentation, API guides, infrastructure narratives, and product specifications for payments and fintech clients. I bridge the gap between technical teams and regulatory or commercial audiences. CURRICULUM REVIEW & EDUCATIONAL CONTENT — Credentialed English teacher (GaPSC, grades 6–12) with experience in curriculum development, SAT/standardised test preparation, academic writing coaching, and ESL instruction for adults and young learners. I review and edit educational materials, course content, exam preparation resources, and English language learning curricula for EdTech platforms and independent publishers. All editing, proofreading, and translation review is human-produced — no AI, no machine translation. For document creation and drafting I combine efficient modern tools with expert human judgement to deliver polished, precise final content. Available Monday to Friday (8am–10pm GMT/BST). Weekend and urgent turnaround available at a premium rate. Fast, professional, and precise. Pursuing accreditation with the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP).
