Are you looking for someone to help you create engaging eLearning materials? I am passionate about creating learning solutions that not only satisfy the learning objectives, but that are aesthetic, easy to use, and fun. After receiving a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, I have obtained about 6 years of experience developing eLearning courses. In May of 2021, I graduated from California State University-Fullerton with my Masters Degree in Instructional Design and Technology. I recognize the importance of properly assessing needs and applying learning theory, instructional design models, and methodologies to the training that I produce. Specific topics in my research are: the link between Blooms Taxonomy and course interactions, managing cognitive load, transformative learning theory, and the mastery learning method. With a multifaceted skill-set and instructional design knowledge, I anticipate creating impactful training that is valuable to the individual, team, and organization at large.
Recently, I have:
• Created 14 engaging (measured by usage, qualitative and quantitative feedback) e-learning modules that include clinical and non-clinical instruction.
• Developed the "Pellets to Pallets" course for Niagara Bottling. Pellets to Pallets is an instructional product that offers a high-level insight into the operations of the bottling facilities including machine processes, facility maps, bottling plant terminology, and more.
• Worked at CareerSmart Learning developing various online continuing education courses for healthcare professionals. I designed original artwork for live and online educational materials, based on topic and content analysis, which reflect the subject matter effectively. I also recorded voiceovers for the courses.
• Collaborated with a team of eLearning artists, science writers, and subject matter experts to create effective educational content for the biomedical field at ScienceMedia.
• Increased the learning value of instructional content by writing compelling safety reports and copy for presentations at ProSafe Solutions. Dryly written OSHA safety standards were rewritten with a personable tone for courses. I ensured the accuracy of the information being taught to company employees by conducting thorough research on each topic.
• Collaborated with a team on-site and later as a remote contractor to create eLearning modules for various fortune 500 companies at eLearning Mind, and assured each project was completed on time and within budget. Increased the engagement and entertainment value of the eLearning modules by digitally drawing vector illustrations, characters, and icons and animating these within Articulate Storyline or After Effects.
