As an experienced 2D and 3D animator, my portfolio includes a variety of projects ranging from 2D motion graphics to architectural 3D renderings. Common animated projects include:
1. 2D & 3D animation; animated storytelling, characters, environments, and motion graphics
2. Animated stories to communicate ideas, businesses, or products
3. Traditional hand-drawn frame-by-frame Disney Styled Animation

Styles:
2D or 3D animation style including traditional hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation, 2D cutout puppet rigged character animation, 2D motion graphics and visual effects, Pixar-styled 3D animation. Visual styles for any animated content can range from cartoon to realistic.

Expectations:
Clear, prompt, and responsive communication between freelancers and clients. Expect fast turnarounds and high quality, and prepare to respond in a timely manner to avoid production delays. All projects will begin and progress through some, or all of the following stages:
1. Written Treatment - Outline or a script/screenplay
2. Storyboard/Animatic - Preliminary cinematography, timed out in an animated sequence or rough sketches
3. Concept Art - Designs of characters and a visual style sheet for the final animation
4. Production - All final assets, characters, and environments are created and prepped for animation.
5. Animation - The shots in the rough animation will be produced. Animation begins in a blocking phase and then is slowly refined into the final motion. Clients will be updated frequently throughout production.
6. Post-Production - Piecing together all the final renderings into the end result. Usually composited in After Effects and rendered as a .mp4 video file.
7. Contract Completion - Final deliverables are sent via Upwork messenger, in addition to all project files.

The following rates are general and may be adjusted to fit your specific project’s needs.
- Digital Art and Illustration: $150/illustration (1 character + 1 background). Additional characters/design elements/complex ideas: $100 each.
- Storyboard & Animatic: $200/minute (rough sketches, timed out to placeholder audio)
- 2D Animation: $600/1 minute (2 characters + 1 environment + simple animation). Additional characters/environments/complex animations: $200 each.
- 3D Animation: $800/1 minute (1 character + 1 environment + simple animations). Additional characters/environments/complex animations: $300 each.
