Design and creative is ultimately about what YOU envision while my job is bringing it to light in a variety of ways so you feel confident in the chosen direction. Everyone has their own process to accomplish this and I've learned to hone mine over the last 15 years as you can learn about below:
I started my career in video editing where I learned how to craft a story, collaborate with clients and hone my technical chops behind the computer. Realizing I'd need to be a more conceptual creative to make it in the industry, I went to portfolio school to learn art direction and graphic design. This introduced me to a wide array of personalities from all over the country and just how high the creative bar was of my contemporaries.
Upon finishing school, I worked for some of the biggest ad agencies in San Francisco, Chicago and Portland as an art director. Some brands I was able to work on were Can Am, KIND Snacks, EGO Lawnmower, Toys R Us and Adidas.
Throughout my career, I saw how creative, concept and production all come together on a small to massive scale. It didn't matter if it was newspaper ad or a TV campaign, developing proper creative that was strategic and conceptual was the most important element.
After working in the industry and seeing how the landscape was changing, I realized most clients did not need an entire agency but only an individual who can develop creative campaigns AND execute them. So in 2020 I went off on my own to offer exactly this.
Over the last 5 years I've worked with every sized company and have delivered logo designs, visual design systems, social media campaigns and everything in between at an affordable cost and timeline.
