    Welcome to my page! Proofreading and editing has been a passion of mine and part of my career for several years. I am experienced with editing and proofreading: - corporate notices and correspondence -technical reports and presentations - email marketing campaigns - crowdfunding campaigns -fiction novels and short stories of various kinds (sci-fi, fantasy, horror, etc.) - tabletop game rulebooks For the gamers reading this, I was a co-editor of the soon to be published Everdell: Tales from the Green Acorn art and lore book. It was a massive and ambitious undertaking, including over 70,000 words and more than 3 distinct tones, but it was so much fun and the audience's positive response to it has been extremely rewarding. As far as fiction goes, I am an avid reader and beta reader, and I have served as a proofreader and as an editor for novels, short stories, and microfiction. I love how endless the bounds of fiction are, especially so with adult fiction. I've read mystery, romance, horror, fantasy, and so many other subsets, and each has so much value and nuance. There are so many new experiences to be had with tried-and-true tropes and new avenues, and there are so many interesting choices that writers are making that expand the roots and boundaries of creativity. Every grammatical error, jarring word choice, and awkward sentence structure takes away from the experience of fiction, and I am passionate about eliminating those barriers so that the writer's vision is realized. While editing for games and fiction is a ton of fun, corporate editing and proofing is no less fun for me! Being able to make sure an idea is well conveyed and presented is extremely important, and I take great pride in making that happen. I have a background in Human Resources, general administration, and mathematics, and I utilize those skills to adjust tone, format, and word choice to best suit the audience. I'm eager, hardworking, and excited to hear about your project!
