I want them to be organized, helpful, and current. I enjoy the challenge of the "clean-up" that leads to the satisfaction of the zero balance at the end of the month's reconciliation. I have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and fourteen plus years of reconciling bank accounts. My journey to accounting started on the flight line as a mechanic on aircraft in the United States Air Force which then moved me to a position of reconciling the fuel accounts that kept them in the air. All valuable lessons that my military experience prepared me for in this civilian life accounting adventure. As a civilian, I have gone to helping customers with their mobile home and escrow accounts, to helping customers account for their car insurance payments and claims. After achieving my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, I wanted to experience the Tax and Audit life. The experience in CPA firms was terrific; however, I learned that I preferred to work more with doing the accounting rather than auditing the accounting. As a Business Manager in the Automotive Service and Sales well what can I say? The Automobile Service is like the Military, it is its own world! It was a fantastic adventure! Every day a new task, question, challenge, and accomplishment. I believe a reliable bookkeeper allows an Owner or Organizations' Board to focus on running the business with the confidence and peace of mind that their books are taken care of and have current, relevant, and accurate numbers. With the knowledge that they do not have to stand over every number or the shoulder to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and completion are taking place.
